What does a squire do?
The squire that was a position that was a step below the Knight. The squire would be called a servant of knights. Before a person can become a squire they must first start as a Norman Predecessor. You must be a Page seven years before becoming a squire. By doing this they would have the job of looking after ladies of the court or castle. A squires job includes, running errands for their knights, shield/amour bearer. An example of a modern day squire would be, a justice of the peace, lawyer, and a judge. A squire is almost always a male and a devoted attendant.
